Precious Plastic Houston
Precious Plastic Houston
We began in 2019 as a couple of Industrial Design students, interested in establishing a workspace on campus. In the summer of 2021, after some delays, we finally accomplished these goals. With the our equipment, our co-presidents Eric Sloat and Anne-Elizabeth Baker pushed our possibilities further and further.
Precious Plastic UH had fewer members than even, with no leader to replace the graduates. At the same time, it was more successful than ever, and a number of outside organizations were interested in working with our great materials. That is why Eric Sloat, after his graduation decided to turn PPUH into Precious Plastic Houston, a Non-profit at opened us up to the public.
